Herbicide Applications

Asplundh is a pioneer in herbicide applications for right-of-way (ROW) and integrated vegetation management. Since 1946 Asplundh has been using herbicides to control unwanted vegetation growing on utility rights-of-way. Today Asplundh continues to develop new and innovative application methods that enable utility ROW managers to more effectively and efficiently manage the vegetation growing on utility rights-of -way nationwide. The result is improved access to the ROW, better reliability and great habitat for wildlife.

To help the industry make more informed decisions when managing vegetation with herbicides, Asplundh has supported extensive research since the early 1950s on a transmission ROW that crosses Pennsylvania State Game Lands 33 and other sites.
