Innovations for Productivity

Asplundh is installing a GPS-based system called Automatic Vehicle Management System (AVMS) to track the location of its company-owned vehicles. This system not only pinpoints where our vehicles are, but also reports on engine idle time, miles driven and use of its pony motor.  Knowing where our vehicles are can help us determine the most direct and safest route to and from job sites, monitor fuel consumption and respond more quickly in the event of an emergency.
