Supervision
Asplundh's right-of-way maintenance experts are carefully supervised to monitor productivity and safety. In addition, our local managers are always available to provide a quick response to all customer service needs.
Mechanical or Manual Cutting and Side Clearing
Depending on the terrain and your needs, Asplundh provides skilled climbers or equipment operators to perform cutting and side clearing. Whenever the terrain on a right-of-way permits access, Asplundh recommends using specialized cutters, lifts and mowers such as the Jarraff, Timberland, Hydro-Ax, Slashbuster or Timberjack to greatly increase efficiency. Inaccessible or sensitive areas, however, can be expertly handled by our manual climbers and brush cutters or low ground pressure tracked vehicles.
Chemical Vegetation Control
Applying herbicides requires care and expertise to achieve effective control of brush and weeds. Asplundh personnel are well-trained and equipped to do the job and are licensed according to all local, state and federal requirements. A wide variety of treatment methods and equipment options are available.
